In their inaugural year (1937), the Beasley football team won five games and lost one. That was good enough for second in their district. In addition to regular season games, they played a couple of exhibition games, beating Victoria 12-8 and Hungerford 32-27. They outscored their opponents that season 279 to 101. The coach and eleven players are named in the yearbook and that's it for the yearbook's football report. The entire squad listed for that 1937 team totaled eleven and probably most, if not all, played both offense and defense when they got in the game. Thanks for reading and commenting.
